FDCC Programme

ABSL is a partner within the Future Dismounted Close Combat programme, sponsored by the MOD’s Research Acquisition Organisation, and led by Systems Engineering and Assessment Ltd. The overall aim of the FDCC research programme is to determine significant advances in dismounted close combat capability in the post-FIST era. ABSL is providing support to identify key developments in electrical power supply, storage and consumption for the warfighter to 2025, from developments in low power electronics to advanced power sources and intelligent power distribution approaches.
