Power Supply
The ability to resupply with power during operations reduces the requirements for power storage and its associated weight and cost. Put more simply; the more power is available, the less you need to carry. The challenge in this case is to maximise the opportunity and capability to recharge the system without imposing a reduction on the mission duration or soldier capability. ABSL's Soldier Portable Charger (SPC) (see pdf datasheet link) meets this challenge by ensuring the soldier system is interoperable with a wide range of power sources accessible in the battlefield.
