K2 enhanced protection is a new protection safety feature which is available on cells in the standard cell range. It offers customers an unrivalled level of safety through overcharge and enhanced short-circuit protection through unique cell-level integration safety electronics. Electronic protection
In addition to the inherent safety features of AGM Lithium-ion cells, electric protection circuitry at battery level is necessary. A range of protection boards designed for batteries with up to 8 cells in series is available from AGM. Contact us to request datasheets and further information.
